Henry was born in London in 1921, where he trained at St Martins School of Art and Design, and Bolt School of Lithography in Fleet Street. After serving in the RAF, he continued his career in commercial art, where he started his own studio, which he ran successfully for 35 years until his retirement. Working in oils and watercolour, he has many paintings in private collections across the world. Over the years he has exhibited widely, including at the Royal Institute of Painters and in Water Colour at the Mall Galleries in London. In 1986 Henry moved with his family to Sussex. This beautiful and well known area was the inspiration for this collection. There are 12 Sussex landscapes within the limited edition collection. The Shoreham Power Station original was commissioned by Adur Council prior to is demolition, and was auctioned for charity.
